The spindle is made to use with a Baldor Dental Polishing motor. These are specifically made to fit Baldor motor shafts since they are not straight, but have a slight taper. Spindles are a friction fit, they are pushed on to the shaft of the Baldor motor, to properly secure them onto the shaft, lightly tap with a soft mallet or a piece of wood.
